TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: 17 April 2025
Applicable to TETHYS BOOTCAMP, a digital platform available under TethysBootcamp.com and operated by Téthys Naval SRL, Brussels.
1. Legal Identity and Scope
TETHYS BOOTCAMP is a digital platform operated by Téthys Naval SRL, a private limited liability company (SRL) under Belgian law, registered at Boulevard St. Michel 47, 1040 Brussels, with company number BE0801.551.085, hereinafter referred to as "the Provider".
These General Business Conditions (hereinafter "Conditions") govern all contractual relationships between the Provider and its clients using the TETHYS BOOTCAMP platform.
2. Corporate Clients Only
The platform is exclusively available to corporate clients, including legal entities and organisations, who are able to provide a valid VAT identification number. Private individuals and consumers (as defined under Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law) are expressly excluded from using the services offered through TETHYS BOOTCAMP.
By registering an account or purchasing services, the client confirms that it is acting within the scope of a professional or institutional activity and is not a consumer.
3. Services Provided
The Provider offers remote learning services, namely e-lectures, webinars, and online learning modules (collectively referred to as "Services"), accessible through the TETHYS BOOTCAMP platform. These Services are intended for professional training and educational purposes only.
4. Registration and Account Verification
To access the Services, the client must register an account and provide:
Legal entity name
Registered office address
Valid VAT number (which will be verified)
Designated administrator contact
The Provider reserves the right to reject or suspend any registration that does not meet these requirements or cannot be verified.
5. Enrolment and Access
Only registered clients may enrol students (i.e., employees, members, or representatives of the corporate client) in specific modules. Each enrolment is subject to payment of the applicable fee as stated on the platform or in a written offer.
Access to content is personal, non-transferable, and time-limited as specified for each module. Sharing of credentials or misuse of access rights may result in suspension or termination of the account.
6. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are listed in euros (EUR), exclusive of VAT and applicable taxes. Payment is due upon enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices are issued electronically. Payment shall be made by bank transfer or any other method made available on the platform. Late payment may result in interest and penalties in accordance with the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, and platform architecture remain the exclusive property of Téthys Naval SRL or its licensors. Clients and enrolled users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content solely for internal training purposes.
Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of the content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
8. Data Protection
Client and user data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and Belgian data protection laws. The Provider acts as a data controller for client data and ensures appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect personal data.

9. Limitation of Liability
The Provider shall not be liable for any indirect damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
In any event, the Provider's liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the specific module or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Force Majeure
The Provider shall not be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, cyberattacks, strikes, government restrictions, or natural disasters.
11. Termination and Suspension
The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate a client's access in the event of:

Misuse of the platform
Non-payment
No refunds will be issued for termination due to client fault.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Conditions and all contractual relations are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French-speaking courts of Brussels, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Amendments
The Provider may amend these Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
Continued use of the platform following such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Conditions.
14. Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion may be issued upon successful completion of specific modules. These certificates are non-academic in nature and provided for professional development purposes only. Issuance may depend on the fulfilment of assessment criteria where applicable.
15. Multi-User Licenses
Corporate clients may request multi-user licenses for team enrolment. Pricing and access duration for multi-user licenses will be defined in a separate agreement. The client is responsible for managing user access and compliance with the terms of use across all licensed users.
